About

As a senior digital media professional with over 17 years experience designing and developing websites and web application interfaces, I am involved in the design, creation and maintenance of multiple Internet and Intranet sites, including www.bge.com.

Starting with a web design and development background, I have broadened my expertise to include content management and customer-focused web usability. I demonstrate a keen awareness of how interface usability and process design influence customer adoption and satisfaction. I apply my expertise in the areas of usability analysis, requirements analysis, information architecture, prototyping and content/graphic design to all projects.

I am valued for my ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization with both IT staff and business units. I am a team player with confidence in my abilities and I enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from the University of Richmond and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Villa Julie College (now Stevenson University). In 2009, I became a Certified Usability Analyst (CUA) through Human Factors International, followed by earning my Certified User Experience Analyst (CXA) certification in 2014.

I am also trained in various Adobe and SharePoint Web design and development applications, including Adobe CC and SharePoint 2013.

I live with my family in Central Virginia.
